The Wildcats (2-1, 2-0 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) spotted Lane (1-1, 1-1) a 7-0 lead only seven seconds into the game when Jacoby Jones caught a 45-yard scoring pass from Kenneth Irby. <br>

Lane's other score came on a 24-yard field goal by Enrique Corona. <br>

Jalil Muhammad connected with Taqua Thrasher on a 71-yard scoring pass for Fort Valley in the third quarter and Jameel Walters scored on a 10-yard run in the second. The other Wildcat scoring came on field goals of 33 and 36 yards by Andrew Jacas.
