GAINESVILLE - Gateway House, a Gainesville shelter for victims of domestic violence, will expand its fund-raising capabilities next month with the opening of a thrift store at 1080 Dawsonville Highway. <br>

Gateway began accepting donations of household items such as clothing, small appliances, toys and furniture at the site Monday. <br>
<br>
The thrift store will also serve as a job training site for Gateway clients and a place they can get needed clothing and household goods at no cost. <br>
