Region 7-AAA dominates Class AAA softball poll

Region 7-AAA dominates the recent GaFastpitch.com Class AAA girls softball coaches poll.

Four teams in the region make up the Top 10.

Chestatee, which lost its first region game last week, however, remained at No. 3 behind Grayson and LaGrange.

Pickens moved up to fifth with North Hall sixth and West Hall seventh.

Franklin County cracked the poll for the first time this year tied for ninth with Central-Carroll and Appling County.

In the Class AAAA poll, South Forsyth is fifth with North Forsyth tied for eighth with Harris County.

Most of the region will be back in action Tuesday.
