Johnson's score with 13:12 left in the game put West Georgia (2-2, 1-1 Gulf South Conference) up 38-21, enough of a margin to withstand a two-touchdown comeback by the Reddies (2-2, 1-1). <br>

Brandon Glover led West Georgia's rushing attack, gaining 103 yards on 15 carries, and scoring a touchdown. <br>

HSU built a 21-17 lead at the half on two touchdown runs by quarterback Blake Christenson from 23 yards and 1 yard out and 1-yard scoring run by Arthur Burnett. <br>

But a first-quarter field goal from 44 yards by West Georgia's Trevor Ramos proved to provide the final margin.
