North Hall grad headed to Miss Georgia Pageant

GAINESVILLE - For the second time in three years, a young Gainesville woman will be competing in the Miss Georgia Pageant.

Katy Sulhoff graduated from North Hall High School earlier this year and is now a freshman at Brenau University, majoring in Mass Communications. She was recently crowned Miss Chattahoochee 2004 - making her eligible for the Miss Georgia competition.

The Miss Chattahoochee Pageant was part of the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Habersham County.

Katy, the daughter of Roger and Nancy Sulhoff of Gainesville, has held several state pageant titles, including Miss Georgia Peach and Miss Teen Georgia Forestry.

Another Brenau student, Judith Pannell, competed in this year's Miss Georgia Pageant as Miss Augusta.

Amy Mulkey of Gainesville won the Miss Georgia title in 2002.
