The six-foot-one guard from state champion Rice High School visited the Lawrence campus over the weekend, and joined 50,000 fans who saw KU upset arch-rival Missouri. <br>

Monday, he said he called new KU Coach Bill Self to say he's picking the Jayhawks over Georgia Tech, Connecticut, St. John's and Kentucky. <br>

Robinson averaged 18 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals a game last season for Rice. The team has won two state titles in Robinson's three seasons. He said Self told him the Jayhawks view him as a scoring point guard.
