Andrade shot 72 Friday and Weir had a 71 to finish two rounds at one-under-par 139, two shots behind leader Shaun Micheel. <br>

Charles Howell the Third of Augusta had a 72 and is now at two-over 142. Davis Love the Third, who lives at Sea Island, was a favorite going into the tournament at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York, but failed to make the cut after shooting a 75 Friday for a two-round total of nine-over 149. <br>

Former Georgia Tech star David Duval, who shot an 80 in the opening round, withdrew Friday with a sore back.
