ATLANTA - The State Ethics Commission Friday is to consider a complaint filed last year against Hall County Commissioner Deborah Lynn.
The complaint was filed by Bill Chandler, chairman of the Hall County Democratic Committee.
Chandler said shortly before the General Election in November, in which Lynn - a Republican - defeated her Democratic opponent, that the complaint had to do with campaign mailers.
"She had no indication of the amount of money spent for about 12 mailers that she had put out in August and September," Chandler said at the time. "There's no indication of any expense or no indication of any funds coming into her account to pay for this."
Chandler said he filed the complaint after research of Deborah Lynn's campaign disclosure reports.
Repeated attempts at the time to reach Lynn for comment were unsuccessful.
Friday's hearing - which will be held in Douglasville - hearing was originally scheduled for March, but the ethics commission postponed it.
