GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA - The Big East is fighting back after losing Miami and Virginia Tech to the Atlantic Coast Conference.<br>

The Hurricanes Monday accepted the ACC's invitation to join the conference, beginning in the fall of 2004.<br>

But four Big East schools will seek hundreds of millions of dollars in damages in a lawsuit against the ACC and Miami.
