UNDATED - Gwinnett County Police have charged a Dacula man in connection with a fatal traffic accident last Saturday.
Rickie Franklin Jackson, 40, is charged with homicide by vehicle first degree and reckless driving. Police said his truck crossed the centerline of State Route 124 and hit another vehicle.
A passenger in the other vehicle, 11 year old Justin Young of Loganville, was killed. The driver of that vehicle, Michael Jarrell, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities have also charged Jackson with trafficking in methamphetamine. They found 54 grams of meth in his vehicle.
