MILWAUKEE - One of the more bizarre scenes at a baseball game this year is going to cost former Atlanta Brave Randall Simon some money, but that's it.
Prosecutors in Milwaukee have decided not to file criminal charges against the Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman, who took a swing with his bat at a woman wearing a giant Italian sausage outfit at Milwaukee's Miller Park last night.

He has been fined $432 by the local sheriff's department for disorderly conduct.

It happened during the stadium's popular costumed races, which feature people dressed as a bratwurst, a hot dog and Italian and Polish sausages.

They were running by the Pirates dugout when Simon bopped the Italian sausage. The 18-year-old inside the outfit fell down, along with the woman playing the giant hot dog.
Prosecutors say the women don't think Simon was trying to hurt them. He says he was just trying to have fun with them and didn't mean to knock them over.
