NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - Bobby Reynolds, the top-ranked player in men's college tennis, has decided to leave Vanderbilt after his junior year and turn pro, Commodores coach Ken Flach said. <br>

Reynolds, of Acworth, Ga., told Flach on Monday he would not return for his senior season. <br>

Reynolds was ranked No. 1 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association at the end of the season despite losing in the NCAA tournament's round of 16. <br>

``Bobby just feels like, other than winning the singles, he did all he could in college and he's just ready he really wants to take a crack at the pros,'' Flach said. ``I understand. I certainly did all I could to convince him to come back, but tennis-wise he's ready to go to the next level.'' <br>
<br>
Reynolds posted a 46-7 overall record this past season and was named the Southeastern Conference Player of the Year after posting an 11-0 conference record.
