ATLANTA - The Atlanta Thrashers will open their fifth season at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets on October 9.
The National Hockey League announced Wednesday that the Thrashers will play a 41-game home schedule. That includes games against the Stanley Cup Champion New Jersey Devils on December 18 and March 26; the Anaheim Mighty Ducks on December 5; and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thanksgiving Day.
Individual game tickets cost between $10.77, and they will go on sale September 15.
Preseason games will be played in Philips Arena against Tampa Bay on September 18 and Florida on October 1.
All weekday home games will start at 7:30 p.m. All Saturday home games will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday game times will vary.
