ATLANTA - Plans are underway for what the Georgia Department of Natural Resources is predicting could be the largest volunteer river cleanup in the state to date. <br>

Last year several volunteer groups, including Gainesville-Hall County Adopt-A-Stream, took part and clean of 780 miles of shoreline, including four miles of Flat Creek in Gainesville. <br>

Volunteers who wish to participate in the event in October are asked to contact the DNR and register before July 31st.
