Ralph hired to assist former Tech coach

PITTSBURGH - Former Connecticut basketball star Shea Ralph was named Tuesday as an assistant coach at Pittsburgh -- one of the Huskies&#39; Big East Conference rivals.<br> <br> Ralph&#39;s hiring completes the staff of Agnus Berenato, the former Georgia Tech coach who was recently hired by Pitt.<br> <br> Ralph will work primarily with the conditioning program, assist with individual workouts and scouting and work with the guards.<br> <br> A former All-American at U-Conn, Ralph was a captain of the 2000 national championship team and the MVP of the Final Four. She was drafted by the WNBA&#39;s Utah Starzz but was unable to play because of a knee injury.
