COLUMBIA, S.C. - Michael Campbell's single sparked a two-out rally in the sixth as South Carolina scored four runs on six consecutive hits to beat Kentucky 5-0, sweeping the three-game series. <br>

Campbell's single ended Seth Stanley's (5-6) bid for a no-hitter. Stanley was perfect through more than five innings, retiring the 17 batters before the Gamecock (32-17, 13-11 Southeastern Conference) bats caught up. <br>

After Campbell's single, Kevin Melillo singled and Justin Harris' double scored both runners. Brian Buscher also had a double during the inning. <br>

Aaron Rawl (5-2) pitched his first game since fracturing a finger March 23 and kept Kentucky (19-28, 6-18) quiet. Rawl went six innings striking out eight while allowing six hits.
