ATLANTA - Parkview and Lassiter players are used to big games, but nothing prepared them for stepping onto sun-dappled Turner Field Tuesday.
As he emerged from the Braves' dugout and gazed at the stadium, Lassiter's Luis Cribeiro said, ``It's unreal, like a dream come true.''
The senior's day only got better. In the top of the seventh inning, Cribeiro crushed a fastball five rows deep into the left-field seats, giving Lassiter a 6-5 win.
Cribeiro says he was so excited while rounding the bases thathe could hardly think straight.

He said, ``That's the most amazing thing I've ever had happen in my life, to hit a bomb here.''
It was the first high school game ever played at Turner Field. Lassiter (22-4) got an ounce of revenge for last year's loss to Parkview (24-2) in the state Class AAAAA championship series. Both teams are expected to go deep in this year's state playoffs, which start Friday.
