CUMMING - A man from Cumming is dead following a one-car accident Friday morning in a cemetery near Cumming.
Forsyth County authorities said a SUV driven by James A. Sitton, 84, hit a tree in the Sawnee View Gardens Cemetary off of Highway 9.
Investigators said it appeared Sitton had slumped over the wheel of his vehicle prior to losing control.
Some grave sites were damaged as the SUV rolled through the cemetery. Sitton was reportedly on the way to his wife's grave, when the accident occurred.
