FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS - Pinch-hitter Kirk McConnell drew a bases loaded walk with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Arkansas a 6-5 win over LSU in front of a record crowd of 5,561 at Baum Stadium Saturday night. <br>

Arkansas (34-17, 14-15 Southeastern Conference) kept alive its chances for a berth in next week's SEC baseball tournament. The Razorbacks can earn a trip to Birmingham, Ala., with either a win over LSU at 1 p.m. on Sunday or a loss by Florida to Kentucky. <br>

LSU (37-18-1, 19-9-1) rallied from deficits of 4-0 and 5-2 to send the game into extra innings. <br>
<br>
However, in the bottom on the 10th, Ryan Fox was hit by a pitch and moved to second on a single by Clay Goodwin. Both runners advanced on a double steal. <br>

Billy Sadler came on for LSU reliever Greg Smith (0-2) and intentionally walked Scott Bridges to load the bases with one out. McConnell pinch-hit for Scott Hode and drew a walk on five pitches to bring in Fox and give the Razorbacks the victory. <br>

Arkansas reliever Scott Roehl (8-3) earned the victory after pitching the final 3 1/3 innings.
