Gainesville girl's accomplice in gang shooting sentenced

LAWRENCEVILLE - A Gwinnett County gang member has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his part an October 2000, fatal shooting in which a Gainesville girl served as one of the shooters. <br>

Raul Garcia-Bonilla pleaded guilty for knowing about the planned hit on his girlfriend and another girl but failing to do anything to stop it. <br>
<br>
Bonilla is already serving a life sentence for another crime. His girlfriend survived the shooting but another girl died. <br>
<br>
Christina Olarte of Gainesville pleaded guilty to be a trigger person in exchange for a lesser charge. She is also serving life for an unrelated crime.
