ATHENS - Lee Mitchell's two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning launched a 20-hit Georgia attack that ended with a 15-5 victory over the College of Charleston Tuesday night. <br>

The Cougars (17-12) cut the lead in half in the top of the second after Matt Lauderdale doubled and scored on a groundout by Brett Spivey. <br>

Georgia (13-13) added one run in the bottom of the second and three in the third. <br>

The Bulldogs scored four more in the fourth to stretch their lead to 10-1. Mitchell tripled and came home on Matt Coffey's RBI double, Marshall Szabo drove in two runs with a triple, and Kyle Keen had an RBI single. <br>

Kip Warren (1-0) pitched 5 1/3 innings, giving up three hits and three runs while striking out five. Matt Jerris (1-1) got tagged for 10 hits and six runs in three innings.
