CLEMSON, S.C. - Kyle Frank had four hits, including two RBIs, to lead as Clemson as the Tigers beat Virginia 9-4 on Friday. <br>

Clemson (22-6) took a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Zane Green, who had a pair of hits, started the bottom of the first with a double down the field line. He moved to third on a single by Russell Triplett and scored when Michael Johnson doubled to right field. <br>

Brad McCann batted in Johnson and Triplett on a triple, and Frank hit a single to score McCann. Frank scored on a single by Herman Demmink. <br>

Clemson led by 7-0 at the beginning of the third, when Scott Headd put the Cavaliers (19-9) on the board on a sacrifice fly by Matt Dunn. <br>

Clemson added two more runs in the fifth, and Virginia answered with a two-run homer by Mark Reynolds. The Cavaliers scored its final run in the ninth on a single, a walk, a fly ball and a sacrifice fly by Kyle Werman. <br>

Tyler Lumsden (6-0) earned the win in seven innings. Chris Gale (2-2), who pitched the first three innings, got the loss.
