Vanderbilt beats back Gators

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - Ryan Klosterman homered in the seventh inning and scored both runs as Vanderbilt edged Florida 2-1 Friday. <br> <br> Klosterman was 3-for-4 as the Commodores (14-14, 3-7 Southeastern Conference) broke a 1-1 tie with his homer to left field. <br> <br> C.J. Smith went 2-for-3 for Florida (23-7-1, 5-4-1) and accounted for the Gators&#39; only run with a homer in the sixth inning, his 10th this year. <br> <br> Jeremy Sowers (1-4) was the winner, allowing five hits in 7 innings. Connor Falkenbach (4-2) took the loss in 2.2 innings of relief.
