ATLANTA - A Turner Sports spokesman denies reports that an agreement has been reached to sell the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Thrashers and Philips Arena to a former minority owner of the Dallas Mavericks. <br>

A report Monday said David McDavid had agreed in principle to buy the two teams and the Atlanta arena from A-O-L-Time Warner, which owns Turner Sports. <br>

Turner Sports spokesman Greg Hughes told The Associated Press that there has been NO deal so far. Hughes said the company would NOT comment on specific rumors regarding the sales of the teams. He said the company is talking with ``a number of interested parties.''
