GAINESVILLE - As the debate over lot sizes continues in Hall County, plans are moving ahead for the development of a 393-lot subdivision at Cool Springs and Chestatee roads.
The county planning commission April 21 will be asked to okay plans for a sewage treatment plant to accomodate the 393 homes planned on 389 acres at that intersection.
In addition, planners will consider a request for a rezoning that would clear the way for a 93-home development on 94 acres on Old Cornelia Highway at M.G. Drive.
At the same meeting, a commercial project will go before planners: a shopping center on 23 acres at Winder Highway and Martin Road, which reportedly would be anchored by a supermarket.
