FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS - An eighth-inning double by Tony Mansolino scored two runs to break a tie and give Vanderbilt a 6-4 Southeastern Conference victory Friday over Arkansas. <br>

The Commodores (17-15, 6-7 SEC) were down 4-3 as the inning opened, but a single by John Kaye scored Cesar Nicholas from third to tie the game. <br>

After giving up the lead, the Razorbacks (25-7, 7-6) got the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the inning, but couldn't get any of the runners home. Winning pitcher Jeremy Sowers (2-4) struck out Ryan Fox to get the last out of the inning. <br>

Sowers allowed four runs, three earned, on five hits in eight innings on the mound. <br>

Arkansas reliever Caton Hall (1-1) took the loss after surrendering two runs on two hits in two-thirds of an inning.
