ATLANTA - Maribel Dominguez scored three goals and the Atlanta Beat set a WUSA record for goals in consecutive games, beating the Boston Breakers 6-0 on Saturday.
Homare Sawa added two goals for the Beat (2-0), who tied the league single-game record for goals. Briana Scurry made two saves against the Breakers (1-1) for her 15th WUSA shutout.
Atlanta's 11 goals in its first two games eclipsed the previous record of eight set by Washington last year.
Dominguez, who keyed Atlanta's season-opening 5-0 win over New York with a goal and an assist, also had an assist. Abby Crumpton scored the final goal in the 90th minute.
