Edwards signs with Steelers

Five Georgia football players have signed as free agents, including wide receiver Terrence Edwards, who signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Other Bulldogs signing contracts yesterday were offensive tackle Kareem Marshall, with the Philadelphia Eagles; offensive lineman Kevin Breedlove, San Diego; and defensive end Nic Clemons and linebacker Chris Clemons with the Washington Redskins.

Auburn safety Roderick Hood of Columbus signed with the Eagles. Oklahoma quarterback Nate Hybl of Hazlehurst - who transferred from Georgia - signed with the Cleveland Browns.
