GAINESVILLE - The Lakeview Academy girls soccer team won its season-oeepner in dramatic style Tuesday night 2-1 over Lumpkin County.<br>

The Lady Lions (1-0) scored twice in the penalty kick round after both teams failed to score in two overtime periods.<br>
<br>
Lakeview fell behind 1-0 in the first half but battled back to tie the game in the second half on a goal from senior Allyson Lance.<br>
<br>
In the penalty kick round, Taylor Hein and Jessica Moses netted their shots while freshman keeper Sylvia Albanese recorded 3 saves in the shootout alone to preserve the win.<br>
<br>
Lakeview next will travel to Johnson on Friday. Kick-off will be at 7 p.m.<br>

The No. 1 doubles team of Courtney Reece and Emily Randall clinched the team win.
