Perdue to hold town hall meeting in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE - Governor Sonny Perdue will conduct a Town Hall Meeting in Gainesville next Thursday.

The governor will be at the civic center for one hour starting at 9 a.m.

Officials with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce say Perdue is expected to discuss issues such as the budget, education, economic development, the flag, and health care - and will include a question-and-answer session.

The event is part of the "Talk to Me" tour, in which the Governor will be discussing current issues with people across Georgia.
