AUBURN, ALABAMA - Auburn became the first team in school history to repeat as national champions after winning the 2003 NCAA Swimming and Diving women's championship Saturday. <br>

The Tigers finished with 536 points, 163 ahead of second-place Georgia. It was the highest point total since Stanford scored 649.5 in 1993. Southern California finished third. <br>

The Tigers won seven total championships during the weekend including four relays. Maggie Bowen also claimed two individual titles and Heather Kemp earned the other individual event for Auburn. <br>
<br>
Cal's Natalie Coughlin finished first individually with three titles and 60 points. Bowen was second with two titles, one in the 400-yard individual medley, the other in the 200 I-M. <br>

``This is incredible,'' Bowen said. ``To have won for the second year in a row is unbelievable. We won this year with a different team than last year. This is a dream come true.'' <br>

Georgia's Maritza Correia set American, U.S. Open and NCAA records with a time of :47.29 in the 100-yard freestyle. <br>

Ohio State's Natalia Diea captured the platform diving championship with a score of 476.65. <br>

SMU's Flavia Rigamonti won the 1650-yard freestyle (15:43.90).
