KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA - The Atlanta Braves have released left-handed reliever Mike Venafro. <br>

The 29-year-old Venafro signed a free-agent deal with the Braves in January after playing last season in Oakland. During spring training, he was 1-1 with a 6.30 ERA in eight games. <br>

He's 13-10 with a 4.06 ERA in four seasons.
