Are you a child care provider in your home or group setting? If so, plan on attending an upcoming training to increase your awareness of safely transporting children.
The training will be held on Thursday, January 30th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Check-in and registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. This is a two-hour DHR accepted credit course, training competency ECE-2. The cost of the program is only $5.00 for supplies and refreshments.
The training will address the following topics: Georgia laws, crash dynamics, types of seats, gross misuse, liability issues and resources available in local regions.
This training is sponsored by the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute (The Governor's Office of Highway Safety and University of Georgia Extension Service), Hall County Extension Service and Gainesville/Hall County SAFE KIDS.
