ATLANTA - Larry Washington scored 21 points, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range, to lead Morris Brown to an 89-82 victory over intown rival Clark Atlanta Wednesday night. <br>

The Wolverines (6-14), who beat Clark Atlanta earlier this season, bounced back from a loss against Eastern Kentucky and handed the Panthers (5-18) their fifth straight defeat. <br>

Amien Hicks added 14 points, snatched 17 rebounds and had six blocks for Morris Brown. Stephen Walton scored 18 and Anthony Adams 17. <br>

Clark Atlanta's Michael Moran led all scorers with 25 points but shot 35 percent from the field. Langston Nolley scored 21 and Roderick Hill had 12, plus 11 rebounds. <br>

The Wolverines started the game with a 15-3 run and maintained the lead until the Panthers trimmed the margin to five before halftime. <br>

In the second half, the lead was cut to one but Washington hit a 3-pointer at 11:41 and the Wolverines soon spread the margin to nine.
