Transportion unit heading to Benning for future deployment

THOMASVILLE - A National Guard unit in Thomasville headed to Fort Benning Thursday for possible deployment overseas. <br>

The 1148th Transportation Company found out Saturday they were being activated but they don't know for how long or exactly where they'll be sent. <br>
<br>
There are 128 soldiers in the unit.
