Witness in murder trial found dead

AUGUSTA - Police say a murder trial witness found dead in her home Friday overdosed on drugs. <br> <br> Vicki LeBlanc, 45, had testified against two men who were convicted of murder Friday, said Maj. Ken Autry of the Richmond County sheriff&#39;s department. <br> <br> James W. Looper, 36, and Kenneth Pruitt, 40, were found guilty of murder in the April 11, 2002 death of Gary Collins. <br> <br> LeBlanc testified in court that Looper gave her cocaine to bribe her not to tell anyone she saw him driving Collin&#39;s 1987 Cadillac Seville, lawyers said. <br> <br> Autry said there&#39;s no evidence of foul play in LeBlanc&#39;s death. <br> <br> Witnesses said they saw LeBlanc take a bunch of pills the night before she died, said Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen. <br> <br> Her body will be sent to the crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
