AUGUSTA - Police say a murder trial witness found dead in her home Friday overdosed on drugs.

Vicki LeBlanc, 45, had testified against two men who were convicted of murder Friday, said Maj. Ken Autry of the Richmond County sheriff's department.

James W. Looper, 36, and Kenneth Pruitt, 40, were found guilty of murder in the April 11, 2002 death of Gary Collins.

LeBlanc testified in court that Looper gave her cocaine to bribe her not to tell anyone she saw him driving Collin's 1987 Cadillac Seville, lawyers said.

Autry said there's no evidence of foul play in LeBlanc's death.

Witnesses said they saw LeBlanc take a bunch of pills the night before she died, said Deputy Coroner Mark Bowen.
Her body will be sent to the crime lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
