Beat signs W-League MVP and Mexico's all-time scorer

ATLANTA - The Atlanta Beat said Wednesday it has signed Maribel Dominguez, the 2002 W-League MVP and Mexico's all-time leading scorer. <br>

The first Mexican-born player to sign with WUSA, the 24-year-old forward played for the W-League's Kansas City Mystics last year. She led the league with 46 points and 12 assists. <br>
<br>
Dominguez played on Mexico's 1999 Women's World Cup team.
