UNDATED - Georgia Department of Transportation officials say the Richard Russell Highway in White County, which was closed Thursday morning because of icy conditions, was reopened Friday morning.<br>

However, the road to the top of Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia, which sits astride the Towns-Union county line, remains closed.
