CUMMING - While Hall County has apparently settled its SPLOST differences with the cities and towns in the county, it's a different story in Forsyth County.
The two sides have been trying to resolve their differences over the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax intergovermental agreement. The main sticking point has been that county officials insist on a detailed account of the city's SPLOST-related spending on past and future projects.
In return, the Cumming City Council has voted to table a request by the county for updating the city's raw water pump station even though the county has offered to pay for the upgrade.
