UGA has first workout in Orlando

ORLANDO - The eleventh-ranked Georgia football team enjoyed Christmas before having its first practice in Orlando Friday night for its New Year&#39;s Day Capital One Bowl game against 12th-ranked Purdue. <br> <br> While Georgia was holding its its first Orlando practice, Purdue already has been at the site of next Thursday&#39;s bowl game for three days. <br> <br> Georgia&#39;s schedule gave its players time to have Christmas with their families before driving to Orlando. Under NCAA rules, each Georgia player was paid 28 cents per mile to drive from his hometown to the site. <br> <br> For players driving from Athens, that came to about $275.<br>
