<p>A married couple accused of robbing a bank in Coweta County have been turned over to federal authorities.</p><p>Jason Stevens, 30, and wife Mary Stevens, 23, of Newnan were moved from the Coweta County Jail to a federal holding facility in Atlanta, said John Lewis of the Coweta sheriffs department. Both were charged with federal bank robbery charges and state theft charges.</p><p>Lewis said Jason Stevens entered the Bank of Coweta in Senoia at about 2 p.m. last Tuesday wearing a blonde wig, fake facial hair, a black hat and a trench coat and ordered a teller to put money into a bag. Lewis said Stevens then left in a silver Lincoln Town Car.</p><p>Deputies stopped the car about an hour later but found no money or disguises. However, they held Stevens in custody because he had outstanding arrest warrants for writing bad checks.</p><p>Officers went to the couples Newnan apartment and found the stolen money. They said Mary Stevens had tried to burn the clothing and disguise in a backyard grill.</p><p>The couples 1 1/2-year-old child is in the custody of the state Department of Family and Childrens Services.</p>
