<p>B.J. Elder and Ismail Muhammad each scored 21 points, and Marvin Lewis added 19 to lead Georgia Tech to a 100-89 victory over Team NIKE in the opening of the Yellow Jackets exhibition play.</p><p>Muhammad had 10 rebounds, and Luke Schenscher had nine and scored 13 points for Tech, which led by just one point, 47-46, at halftime.</p><p>Within the first minute of the second half, Techs Jack Jarrett stole the ball and scored on a layup, and Anthony McHenry got two steals and fed the ball to Lewis for two goals as the Yellow Jackets took a 53-46 lead. Lewis was fouled by Brandon Watkins and made the shot to make it 54-46 at the 19:03 mark.</p><p>NIKE battled back to tie it at 64 on a 3-pointer by Donta Richardson six minutes later and then edged to a 71-66 lead.</p><p>But Tech took control and rattled off 17 straight points to make it 83-71 with 7:02 to play.</p><p>Curtis Millage led the visitors with 21 points, while Richardson scored 20 and Stan Blackmon added 17.</p>
