GAINESVILLE - Is the Lakview Academy girls basketball team ready to have a breakout year?<br>

That's the indication around campus as the Lady Lions prepare to open their season Tuesday against Greenforest.<br>
<br>
Eight of the top nine players on the roster are underclassmen and most got significant playing time last year in an 11-13 campaign that saw them fall just short of a playoff spot in the Region 8-A tournament.<br>
<br>
Christi Thomas, a move-in from North Forsyth is the only senior among a group of six that can be mixed and matched in the starting lineup.<br>
<br>
Juniors Hillary Stanford, Hannah Bennett, Emily Horne, Chelsea Chastain and Elizabeth Campbell could all get some starts this year.<br>
<br>
Juniors Diana Briggs and Taylor Hein along with sophomore Danielle Pacual should also see plenty of action this year.<br>
<br>
Among a tough schedule for the Lady Lions are Class AAA East Hall and the Lanierland Tournament, which features Class AAA pre-season No. 1 Gainesville. Buford and Athens Academy are also on the schedule.
