ATHENS - Dustin Wellborn scored 24 points to lead the Lakeview Academy boys basketball team to a 68-50 win over Athens Christian Tuesday night.<br>

The Lakeview girls rolled to an easy 52-19 win over Athens Christian to make it a sweep.<br>

The win for the Lions (5-1) came just four days after they played well in a loss to defending Class AAA champ East Hall.<br>
<br>
"I think that game helped our confidence a little bit in that we know we can play with people," Lakeview coach Richie Hughes said. "We played very well (Tuesday night) and were in control most of the game."<br>

Trey Wood added 13 and Tony Cash 11 for Lakeview. Will Crumley scored 7 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. J.B. Little had 9 points.<br>

Lakeview jumped on the Eagles early leading 31-20 at halftime ands then cruised in the second half.
