ATLANTA - A familiar face returns to Philips Arena Tuesday night as the Thrashers play host to the New York Islanders. <br>

Curt Fraser, who was the Thrashers' first coach until he was replaced last season, is now an assistant coach with the Islanders. <br>
<br>
His time spent in Atlanta molded some close relationships. The day after the Islanders' season opener, Fraser flew to Elmira, Ontario, for the funeral of Dan Snyder. While in Atlanta, Frasher said he hopes to see All-Star Dany Heatley, who was driving the car in which Snyder was fatally injured.
