CUMMING - South Forsyth will face its second Top 5 team in as many weeks travleing to No. 4 Tucker Friday night in a Region 6-AAAA battle.
The 57 points the War Eagles (4-2, 3-2) surrendered last week against No. 2 Marist was more than in the first five games combined. Marist, however, has averaged 44.4 points a game.
Tucker (5-1, 4-1) is nearly as explosive averaging 32.3 points a game. The Tigers' only loss came at the hands of Marist, 31-19.
The War Eagles' two-game losing streak dropped them into a tie for fourth in the region standings with rival North Forsyth and St. Pius. After Tucker, South Forsyth plays three of the region's bottom four teams to finish the season.
In other action, North Forsyth (3-3, 3-2) climbed into the region playoff picture after winning its second straight, a 28-15 win over winless Riverwood. The Raiders, however, begin a tough stretch with consecutive games against St. Pius, Marist and Tucker.
Marist (6-0, 5-0) plays host to Chamblee (5-1, 4-1) in a battle for first place in the region.
Forsyth Central (1-5, 1-4) travels to North Springs while Dunwoody (1-5, 1-4) plays host to Riverwood (0-6, 0-5).
