DALLAS - Roy Williams led a Texas charge in a 35-20 win over LSU at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. <br>

The ninth-ranked Longhorns trailed 17-7 in the second quarter before Williams began a string of big plays. <br>

He scored on a 51-yard touchdown, went 75 yards to set up another score and turned an end-around into a 39-yard TD while the Longhorns were scored 28 straight points. <br>

Texas quarterback Chris Simms was 15-of-28 for 269 yards. Williams had four receptions for 142 yards. <br>

It's the second straight game in which the Tigers have blown a 17-7 lead. They fell apart in a 21-20 loss to Arkansas in the SEC title game. <br>

LSU quarterback Marcus Randall raced 76 yards to set up a touchdown that made it 17-7 before Williams ignited the Texas comeback. Randall also had a first-half fumble that Lee Jackson returned 46 yards for a score. <br>

The Longhorns have posted back-to-back eleven-win seasons for the first time, finishing 11-2. <br>
<br>
LSU ends up 8-5.
