GREENVILLE, S.C. - Nate Williams went 10-of-13 for 20 points as Georgia State snapped a five-game losing streak with a 73-62 win over Furman on Thursday night. <br>

Leroy Davis added 13 points and Trello Galloway had 12 for the Panthers (4-6), who shot 60 percent from the field and led by as many as 24 before a late Paladin rally. <br>

Karim Souchu had 21 points and nine rebounds for the Furman (6-9), who hit just 37 percent of their shots. Guilherme Da Luz added 14. <br>

Georgia State jumped out to a 11-2 lead and took control for good at 15-13 on Kendrick Alloway's baseline jumper. The Panthers led by four at halftime and opened the second half with a 16-6 run for a 44-30 advantage on Williams' drive with 14:02 remaining. <br>

The Paladins closed the game with a 13-2 run over the last 2:26. <br>

The Panthers shot 30-of-50 from the field, including 5-of-9 in 3-point attempts. Georgia State controlled the boards 34-27, with Reo Logan leading the team with eight rebounds.
