ATLANTA - Commissioner Robert Baker Jr. will be the chairman of the Public Service Commission during 2003. <br>

This is the third time that Baker has held the position, which rotates among the five PSC members, since 1992 when he became the first Republican since Reconstruction to be elected to the utility regulating board. He also was chairman in 1993 and in 1998, when he was elected to a second six-year term. <br>
<br>
Commissioner H. Doug Everett will be vice chairman in 2003 and will become chairman in 2004.
