ATLANTA - Governor-elect Sonny Perdue has announced a former Bank of America executive as the chief operating officer for his administration. <br>

Named to the post was Jim Lientz, a native of Savannah, who was responsible for the national small-business banking segment of Bank of America. <br>
<br>
In his new role Lientz will be responsible for all the state agencies that deliver products and services to people. <br>
<br>
Perdue says Lientz also will be responsible for encouraging a people-friendly and service-oriented culture in state government.
